Baby is one week old today and looking considerably chubbier and stronger than when he first made his appearance in the NICU. In fact, he has stabilized so much that his doctors have finally begun discussing the terms of his release. These are the milestones he has left to hit:
- swallow enough milk on his own (without the feeding tube)
- maintain consistent blood sugar above 45
The doctor will have an updated game plan tomorrow which should give us a better idea of how long these targets should take to reach.

Bienvenido Enriquito, naciste el jueves y yo te vi el viernes en el hospital y ahora mi sueño es verte con tu mami tu papi y tu hermanito en tu casa antes de que yo me vaya a la mía. Espero que así sea porque tu hermanito dice que ya quiere estar con el su bebe.
