More Breakthroughs

So many breakthroughs to report today! First, while mamá was at the gym, Fausto unambiguously asked papa-daddy for leche using sign language. Papa got the message, fixed a bottle, and everyone was happy.

Later this evening, Fausto managed to pull himself up to a standing position all by himself for the first time. Here's what that looked like.

Now for the last breakthrough of the day: Fausto, who is not yet "speaking" in conventional terms, made up a word: when he has gas, he referrs to it using the sound "th" (as in "thing"). Maybe tomorrow he'll make up some language to unambiguously communicate, "mamá, I can't believe you posted that on my blog!"

Hee hee. That's great! The communication, I mean. Not the gas. :-P
