Super healthy, perfect placentas are considered "grade 1"
At 40 weeks, most placentas are grade 3
At 42 weeks, mine was still a grade 1
Finally at 42 weeks I'm rocking a grade 2
Think Mr. Sea Monkey will start getting the hint? Seems like a good sign to me that his habitat is becoming less hospitable.

Emil Enrique
Baby Enrique was born on October 13, 2011 at 4:03 p.m., weighing 4 lbs 7 oz and measuring a tiny 17.5 inches. He was named for Teresa's paternal grandfather, Urho Emil and her favorite uncle, the late tío Enrique. In the tradition of all our kids, he goes by his middle name.
Enrique arrived via c-section 3 weeks ahead of schedule after a routine ultrasound found no amniotic fluid and growth restriction that had him measuring more like a 33-week-old.

Baby Fausto was born on May 20, 2008 at 4:08 p.m., weighing 6 lbs 12 oz and measuring a lanky 21.5 inches. He was named for a dear friend of his daddy's, the late Fausto Alegado. Coincidentally he also shares a name with the great Italian cyclist, Fausto Coppi, il campionissimo. Incidentally, this old Latin name means "fortunate one."

When you were waiting for the right signatures to successfully finish your PHD I had an internal chorus “Teresa, Teresa, Teresa” as if I were waiting for you to get to the stage to be applauded for your great scholastic success.
Now I am cheering for your primognito (first-born) by chanting with extra strength as your little Fausto climbs the stage: “Faustito, Faustito, Faustito….”
