We're now at 39 weeks! Last week when we saw our midwives, the report was that the baby was in a pretty good, but not ideal position. He had dropped, but his head was tripped up on my pubic bone, which would require some additional maneuvering on his end during labor, and some more time and discomfort for me. The midwives recommended a series of exercises -- basic yoga stuff, really -- to help him get into a better position. I spent the last week doing lots of downward dogs, cat/cows, and some modified child's poses, and it worked! He's now WAY low, and is just where we want him. If you're curious about repositioning babies, check out the spinning babies link.

Glad William told me about your blog! It brings back alot of memories. Perhaps all that happened at Rhodes has sidelined what I remember as "The Contented Cow" phase when it was like I was on Valium as I was so Hummmmm.
Hope you continue in good health and good humor. Loved the photos!
