Farm Fieldtrip

This morning, Fausto and Mamá went to Amy's Farm, where we met up with our new Spanish language playgroup. Even though we live in the city, in just 10 minutes we can be in the countryside, surrounded by cornfields, dairies, orchards, and nurseries. Amy's is a CSA farm, dairy, and pumpkin patch and is a great place to take kids. Fausto had a blast petting cows and goats, admiring roosters and hens, grooming horses, and feeding piggies. But what he most enjoyed was making new friends, snuggling with a very sweet kitty, dragging around the feed pail, and choosing his Halloween pumpkin.

That cat photo is hilarious; the kitty looks to be smiling and content despite the position it is in!
