Fausto's First Seder: Oy Vey!

I'll be the first to acknowledge how inappropriate it is to have back-to-back pictures of Passover and barbecue, but welcome to our strange, multicultural world! It says a lot about Memphis that Casa Delfín played host to Fausto's first seder; there are not many Jews in town, so we had to take matters into our own hands. We were accompanied by two friends, both native New Yorkers, Arielle and Michelle, and Miche's family. T-Mamá tapped into years as the best friend and #1 fan of Rabbi Megan, and managed to pull together a fairly convincing last minute vegetarian seder, complete with all the standard components: candles, matzoh, eggs, charoset, wine, parsley, salt water, maror, and more matzoh. The big star of the evening, however, was Fausto's fabulous "Oy Vey" bib, which his Tía Rebecca made for him. Although our aim was for a super abbreviated seder, Fausto pronounced it too long within 20 minutes, and was the first to proclaim, "Dayenu" before heading to bed. The plan for next year is Passover in Menlo Park with Adam, Amanda, Leo, and FINGER PUPPETS!!
