T-Mamá only speaks Spanish to Fausto.
Papa-Daddy speaks English and a little Spanish to him.
And while Fausto nurses, Mamá signs, leche, milk, by opening and closing my hand as though milking a cow. I've been introducing this sign since Fausto was just a couple of months old, with no real idea of when babies can start signing, since it varies so much. But today it clicked! While nursing this morning (2 days shy of 8 months old), Fausto looked at his hand, smiled, and began signing! Slowly we'll start introducing other basic signs, so that Fausto will be able to let us know when he's hungry, thirsty, tired, wet, etc. long before he's verbal. If you've never seen a baby sign, it's quite amazing.

very cool, T-mama!
I've decided that you should raise any children I may have. You're so much more suited to it...
