Fausto had a mysterious little red mark on his toe today. It was about the color of a birthmark, but that was impossible -- we would have noticed it by now. A bug bite? That didn't add up either, since it wasn't puffy. Finally we got it -- his first overuse injury! Mr. Monkey Baby has been bouncing so vigorously on his bouncy toys that he got a blister from it! Go Monkey! Er, I mean, poor baby. It's sideways and low res (yeah, yeah, mama needs a real video camera), but here's footage of him bouncing away. And here's a picture of Baby's silly outfit today. He wore Polo yesterday (yes, with the pony), so clearly mama had to muscle that pendulum in the other direction today. Kind of post-punk, I think. The shirt is on loan from his friend Sadie and is by i heart guts. And those are BabyLegs he's rocking down below -- yep, leg warmers for babies.
