Colorado Living

Baby Fausto had the quintessential Colorado day today, starting with his very first hike (right) along the Durango Greenway (elevation 7000 ft.). He loved it! And mama is assuming that he'll be ready for greater adventures soon, given that he slept through most of our hike. In the afternoon we wandered into town where we introduced baby to two of daddy's cycling legend friends, world champion Ned Overend and Durango icon Hal McLean. We ended the day with Fausto's first deer sighting. The photo at left, which you can click to enlarge, shows 4 deer right across the street from the house. Baby is now grinning in his sleep, maybe dreaming about what the mountains hold in store tomorrow.
