Thank You

The blows of an unthinkably difficult week were softened on a daily basis by kind words, loving gestures, warm hugs, delicious food, lovely flowers, blog responses, prayers and meditations, phone calls, emails, and visits. We have felt the love all the way from Tennessee to Tokyo. I don't know how we would have survived this week without all that.

Extra special thanks go out to Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Bob who rerouted a road trip by many hundreds of miles to come lend a hand. Abuelita María Elena took the baton from them and flew out from California to take the next shift.

Our deepest gratitude goes out to the Memphis Friends Meeting for organizing drop-offs of delicious, wholesome meals; making visits to both home and hospital; sharing with us the meeting quilt; and holding us in the light.

Thank you.

So glad to hear that everyone is home, you are amazing people, and I'm so grateful to be a little tiny tiny part of all of this. You have a beautiful son, and he is so lucky to have you both as his parents. Lots of love and good wishes to you all.
