still no baby

but we're making progress and the midwives like where this is going. I had good contractions pretty much all day and we got some very good measurements of the baby's heart rate and responses to the contractions. Baby Fausto keeps wowing the midwives and various technicians who have been running tests, because he's vigorous and responsive in ways that babies who are past term usually aren't. This all bodes very well for labor, which hopefully is imminent! Meanwhile, we're covering every square inch of the neighborhood on what we call "contraction walks," as walking now predictably gets active contractions going.
