Uncle Curt & Tía Lorna drove all the way from Michigan to visit last weekend. After the longest winter they've ever known, Memphis showed them its best side, with weather in the mid 60s on Saturday and a full 75 on Sunday! Everything started blooming in a rush: magnolias, daffodils, jasmine. And this Monkey-Mama got a vicarious hit of one of her favorite Southern pleasures -- a lazy afternoon on the porch with mint julep in hand.
PS: In typical Memphis form, it's snowing today! For real.
