Well, I was looking forward to the biggest, juiciest write-up of them all, the one where I pour out all the juicy details of my very first midwife check-up, the one I changed my teaching schedule around to accommodate. And then I got the call from the exhausted midwife, 2 hours before my appointment, reporting that she and her midwife partner in crime had just returned from a very long birth and were decimated. So we've rescheduled until Thursday. Until then, here's a picture of the critter, who is now pretty much developmentally intact, just tiny (about an inch long).
